ABOUT US
Our Background

The reason why this association has been started is because in the past there has been a greater number of wild animals coming into town and there is no one here that knows or has training in how to remove them safely.
Some of our members have been working with wildlife for many years now as carers for the injured and infant animals, so they have built up their knowledge on all types of animals.
This is why we are able to get these animals back to the wild where they belong without any harm to them or the community.
We also have members who work with vets who are very experienced in the same fields as our other members but also bring a greater knowledge of sick animals to the association.
We support the rescue, rehabilitation, prevention and/or release of wildlife, all other animals (excluding cats and dogs) and the eradication of vermin and feral animals.
We will do everything possible to prevent the undue suffering to all wildlife and other animals (excluding cats and dogs).
We provide information to members and the community regarding the care and welfare of all animals.
We will release rehabilitated fauna back into the wild from where they came whenever possible.
To provide care to all animals (excluding cats and dogs) in need until original owner or new home can be found.
We consider the best interests of the animal above personal wants and emotions.
We will accept rescued fauna on behalf of the association.

We will attend bush fires to help with all injured animals.
